Sweet Potatoes with Persimmons

Yield: 6 servings

1 c Water
1 Ib Fresh sweet potatoes, peeled
- and cut
112 c Sugar
2 Persimmons, sliced
Juice of 112 lemon and
- 1/2 lime

Put all ingredients into saucepan and cook, stirring occasionally, until sweet potatoes are done and medium syrup is formed.
